We rely on your support

LCER is 100% staffed by volunteers. That means donations go directly to aid. In the wake of Hurricane Helene, LCER is sending volunteers to help with aid and recovery. With cold weather arriving, thousands homeless, and entire towns washed away, we need your help now more than ever before. As a 501c3 non-profit, we guarantee that your donation will go directly to providing aid to victims of disaster and crisis. It allows us to supply volunteers with the tools they need, and make sure they aren't a burden on the already struggling communities they're there to serve.

In response to Helene, LCER volunteer teams are:

  • Mucking out flooded homes and businesses to minimize water damage and assist with long term rebuilding.
  • Securing staging facilities and distributing desperately needed supplies.
  • Organizing and guiding local volunteers to be as efficient and effective as possible.
  • Providing logistic support for Boots on the Ground volunteers.
  • Providing comfort in addition to relief to those impacted by this disaster.
  • Organizing food and shelter for Boots on the Ground volunteers to keep them from being a strain on the communities they serve.
  • Planning long-term relief efforts for communities that will need them for months to come.
